Hardware platform
The eye — and an ordinary camera — only see the visible spectrum. Turf stress, nutrient issues, and disease show up first in near-infrared and red-edge light, weeks before they're visible on the ground. AirLinks flies drones with a dedicated multispectral sensor that captures those bands alongside high-resolution RGB in a single pass.
Accuracy is the whole game. Our sensing platform is radiometrically calibrated with an onboard light sensor and reflectance reference, so a reading taken today is genuinely comparable to one taken next month — the difference between pretty pictures and trustworthy trend data.
Our analysis is independent of any single aircraft. That keeps the platform resilient as drone hardware and regulations evolve, and lets us match the right compliant equipment to each course — including U.S.-made options where they're required.
